Spring is here. It's a great time to get out & get healthy. Here are some tools to get you started!

Spring is a great time to focus on improving your health and wellbeing. As the weather gets warmer, we can start to take advantage of opportunities to get outside and enjoy activities like hiking, biking, attending events, or simply taking a walk. These activities can help to improve cardiovascular health, boost mood, and reduce stress.

Visit a Park. Here are just a few of the many great parks and trails in and around Wright County worth a visit:

Head to a Farmer's Market. Spring is also a great time to incorporate fresh and local produce and other foods into your diet while supporting local farmers, artisans and producers:

  • The Buffalo Farmer's Market is held 8 AM to Noon Saturdays starting in May.

  • Maple Lake will be introducing a new "Makers and Growers" Market this summer, downtown from 10:30AM to 3:30 PM on May 21, June 11, July 16, August 13, September 17 and October 15.

  • Annandale's Farmer's Market can be found in the Annandale City Hall Square on Saturdays 8 AM to Noon, in 2023 from June 17 through September 30.

  • The 2023 Monticello Farmer's Market is held in the Monticello Library parking log from 3:30-7 PM on Thursdays from May 18 through September 2023.

  • The City of Otsego Farmer's Market is held Tuesdays from 3:00-6:00 PM in the Otsego Coborn's parking lot starting June 13.

  • There are many other Farmer's Market opportunities throughout the area and throughout the state. Check out for more info.

Start a fitness routine. Spring is a great time to head to the gym, take a yoga class, or access health and wellness classes on-demand from the privacy of your home or deck. Incorporating regular exercise into your routine can help to improve physical health, boost mood, and reduce stress.
